Since I'm new with this CJ stuff, can someone give me a general idea of what is a good percentage of clicks in relation to uniques?
Right now only 76% of the people going to my site click thru but I have no idea if that is bad or what! http://adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/biggrin.gif Thanks!

I would say: 85-90% is very good for a cj site. 76% are quite good, too.
U can increase ur click thru ratio by adding a layer. I know they are unpopular http://adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/smile.gif but they give u 10% more click thrus.

Hi kemp,

I am just a newbie too, but i try to give my 2 cents http://adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/smile.gif

I can only talk of my own experiences, what tells me that you have to get aproximate 110% to 140%.. If you got under 100% your site will die..(?)

One way to get a good outclick % is to use consoles like e.g. Exit-Consoles and Enter Consoles..

Also a very good way is to use layers.
It means that a delayed picture of a system alert is pop-ing up and many people just click on it. The bad thing about layers is that some sites doesn't allow the use of layers if you want to trade with them, and the other bad thing is that your productivity will be low on the sites you are trading with (just what i heard).

To get good traffic to your site, a good way will be to post galleries to TGP's. Just don't forget to put a link to your CJ site on the gallery http://adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/wink.gif

So my conclusion is that: Make a good designed site, read some documents about where people click on the screen while they are watching a site, try to find out what kind of pictures(thumbs) your surfers like (hardcore, softcore, teens, group or whatever). At last but not least,- take a look at the sites you are trading with. If a surfer comes from a teensite and he/she has clicked on a link telling "small tits, nice ass", it doesn't help that he gets to a site where he see a "lady with big tits and a fat ass" http://adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/smile.gif

Any comments to this, please post it.
I am always willing to find out more stuff about running these sites.

Best Regards

There are 2 factors when it comes to clickthroughs:

(a) How good your design is
(b) Who you trade with

What I've found is that no matter how good (a) is you cannot make up for (b) i.e. if you trade with people who's sites are 10 times as "dirty".

If your site design is optimized then your choices are then to decide. (a) Whether you want to make your site more dirty and send a higher % out (if you can't beat them then join them) or (b) Stand your ground as is and send less % out but send out a higher quality of traffic and be more selective about who you trade with which will actually increase your % out if you choose people with higher quality traffic.

Another factor which can improve the amount you're sending to trades is feed traffic.

what options do we have regerding Feed traffic? TPG submission with a link to the CJ site, and SE traffic(not that i know how to get it!), is there other good ways to bring in traffic?
I read a post with someone who wrote that he was going to send out 20.000emails to people with links to his site? is that normal to have 20.000 email addresses to porn looking people??

SE-Traffic: Read the article at CycleJerk.com I never tried it but it sounds realistic. According to that article you have to work hard for getting SE traffic.

I agree to Cyberdruid. The article is good but you have to read it carefully and maybe 2 or 3 times beore u get it.

2 or 3 times?!? I dont give yahoo 200$ for not adding my link!
Think this method should work always. Umm, maybe the big SEs blacklist your domain, if they detect that ur site dont matches the criteria u told them...

I have a reasonable knowledge of the SE's but have yet to get a listing that brings the 1,000's of hits you can potentially get with the yahoo idea...mine get more in the range of 100's of hits...

I don't think they will let you pay for a listing unless you can actually take credit card transactions on your site....

SE traffic to a CJ site.. humm get the listing try to send it to a sponsor THEN send the exits to your CJ bet you make more $$ there and the exits to your CJ are still more productive then TGP, toplist, link list or any other traffic you can get with out minimal work on the adult web.

Want quality traffic http://www.dmoz.org/Adult/Image_Galleries/ <-- AOL traffic is easy http://adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/smile.gif http://www.netpond.com/webmaster/seboard/ http://searchenginematrix.com/cgi-bin/ubb/Ultimate.cgi

Regarding SE traffic use:
http://www.searchengineforums.com http://www.searchenginewatch.com

both non-adult sites, but they don't get any better http://adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/wink.gif
