I would like to buy some SE traffic. Wich Searchengines can I use the best?

Your looking to buy? I would say GoTo, FindWhat and maybe epilot. We spend $6000/month altogether on the 3. Search the threads for GoTo and other PPC search engines and you can read reviews as this topic has been beaten to death before :-)

Over 300% return. Considering this is SE traffic, I'm actually expecting a bit more than that. Some Yahoo listings I've obtained get up to 1000% return. But getting listed in Yahoo is damn near impossible now and they're getting greedy, wanting $600 a pop with no guarantee of getting listed!

How much does Search Engine Optimisation cost?

Have you tried google.com's ad words? Is it worth it?

Google is a waste of time/money in regards to their adwords. Optimizing for google however is a valuable resource if you can master it.
