Hello - Did a search didn't pull up much, but found hotscripts.com and have been searching for the past 5 hours, after multiple cgi chat scripts uploaded and tried I have to ask for help...
I want to run a streaming webcam with chat, I have the scripts to do both, but how do you merge them to run, if a viewer is watching the chat, he/she would have to click the browser window for the "video" see the video, and so on... I want them to be able to view vid and chat in real time side by side and cannot find out how to merge these 2 things... then again, I'm no cgi genius.
But hey, I have one, I have the other, why can't I put them together? damnit.
I have the streaming video going to a html page, and of course I have the chat set up on another one, how would it call upon both cgi's then merge them into same window and run? I have been messing with this for a couple days now, and it's getting messy :(
I found a few sites to purchase from, but when sites have the (c) date of 1999 in BIG RED letters on their logo and its 2002 I tend to not want to just drop my credit card, ;)
Any help appreciated in advance,
Royale http://www.hotcherrygirl.com

Yeah, I thought of that, but I want more of a nice interface not a whole new window, something that just pops up when you "click here for cam"
problem is I dont know how to make the "click here for cam" call upon the chat script as well as pop the window for the cam image with chat, if I don't make sense, sorry, I have an image in my head I am going for...
problem with the frames, I dont want the "scroll bar frames or anything just need the layers, i could change the colors but still, a nice 500 pix window with remote image and chat,.. well, now I know I am not making sense huh?
Going get Chinese food, thanks again.

Yea well since you been in the cam biz for so long..
Its quite simple pull the 2 pages into 1 page via SSI and use a table to align them side by side. Another way is to use iframe tags to pull the 2 pages but i would use SSI unless it was used on free host or you dont have SSI ect..

Toker -
Just because I have been in the business awhile doesnt mean I know anything about live steaming video man. Besides when I say the "business" I mean the other side of it man, live talent and photo shoots and movies, not being a webmaster, I started recruiting girls for Ifriends over 3 years ago and get paid every minute they work, (that in my opinion is highly successful) then I started designing their simple pay sites, which was a breeze up until now; now all the girls want streaming video in their member sections, which until now I have set up with ease because it was a chat and video webcam exchange package like Cam Depot Rosecam etc, now if you are familiar with how these CAM PROGRAMS work, they allow feeds to be served to different girls in the club providing they do shows in turn which is sent to the other girls member sections, which adds for great content to the girls in the "club", the problem is they tape the shows and many girls are becoming uncomfortable with this, so now I am having to set them up without a third party... just trying to get ahead like the rest, I never said I knew everything.
Not good with code, good at getting join ups ;)
Oh yeah Toker, Mikey at Phoenix said he would thank you, I dropped your name when I signed up for the monthly deal, thanks again.

Adidas, hey man thanks for the link, thats basically what I am looking for but not third party ya know. there was another post here about webcams, and I asked if anyone knew or was running EMU LIVE for webcams, the site you directed me to is running emulive, I know its a bit more professional then I "need" right now, I believe it costs about 2k, but it is a total cam/chat/pay per view software package, anyone who buys it could set up a site like cyberu4ia.com one problem with companies like this cyberu4ia.com is they want a cut of all the money, plus they use your content to promote their site all you do is link to their site from within your member section, I dont want that anymore, it's usually an exchange, a percentage of the minute rate and of course they get some content from your camshows, which is what is bothering the girls now.
Even ifriends has been running into some problems with their talent for the site amateurs.com which is obviously ran and owned by ifriends and wouldnt ya know they play "videos" which the cam models think it may be them, it's not because they give the movie titles for the video clips, anyway, rambling now...
I have bad headache.
