ok... i notice on my ccbill check today that not only am i paying a .34 "transfer cost", whatever the fuck that is, but now there is a $1.15 "ccbill fee"... not a lot of money but im really curious as to what it is and why i'm paying it. i was under the impression that sponsors paid ccbill for their services. so why am i now paying ccbill just to send me a check??

For me, The transfer fee is for mailing the check, the other fee is the 15% processing fee, but it might always be different for the referal program, I never had a check for that. ;)

site owners can choose to split the 15% with their affiliates, or pay it all themselves

hmm... well half of 15% is 7.5%... and that $1.15 is not 7.5% of my check amount...

i emailed ccbill, guess we'll see wut it is

Dam that bites especially if you make a very large sum and foot the bill for the site owners processing.

i've talked to KimmyKim, and she confirms it is a split in the fee's by one of my sponsors...

weird thing is i havent added any new sponsors. so one of my existing sponsors has suddenly decided to make me pay half his processing fees. especially with no warning. that is just out right unethical. if youre gonna do something that affects your webmaster's income, give them some warning.

you can be assured when i figure out which sponsor it is they wont be getting signups from me anymore.
