Isn't that strange, I usually had to wait a couple of weeks.

Yup,the same heppend to me three days ago(I submit gallery and after two hours get e-mail that is accepted)and it was on hun yesterday!!!!

Its auto i think when the bot reviews it notifies you automatically.

I got the accepted notice then a mail the next day about i use ARS and he wont list gallerys that promote ARS and a link to a GFY post explaining why.
