Using Walmart to fit within community standards and protect yourself from potential 2257 problems. Not that this type of advice is anything new but this method could potentially be used as a legal defence.

I would not leave my family and friends just to be able to run adult sites. That would be a cowardly way of dealing with the 2257 laws. Think about what America would be tomorrow if everyone left and ran from the corruption and problems Bush has created.
Many of us are not happy with the laws and many other things in US including the war. But running would only make it worse and you can look at Cuba to see a prime example. Many Cubans hate Castro for what he has done to them and yet they voted him in power many years ago.
Ive got my guns to protect my freedom and im not going anywhere unless its for a vacation. My grandfather was a POW in Germany and willing to die for the rights of his family and im willing to do the same if needed. ;)
hey man, i was just joking..
for the rest of us non-US adult webmasters i guess its easy to make humor with the situation, but lately i've seen many US and even Aussie webmasters freak out and convert their sites to txt or looking for softcore NN solutions and such.
i hope things get better over there cause unfortunately many silly decisions taken from your "brains" (being 2257 or wars and terror meters) affect the rest of the globe, mostly for the worse
sadly i dont see this happen any time soon

Im not going to convert anything to try and get around the laws myself. I will instead try to work within the law to the best of my ability. Non-nude has a great potential and made me a good bit of money back in the day. The only downside was that it became infested with underage models. Now that CCBill and others will no longer process for Non-nude underage sites it has potential again. The traffic converts far better then general porn and TGP traffic.
I see many discussing offshore and even lost a good chunk of US customers who moved their sites overseas. Those are the guys who are going to be in a world of shit if and when they get caught. Especially since moving offshore will only creates a stronger case to be used against you. Its not like they cant subpoena records just because you use some whoisguard to block the data from the general public.
