what is the best napster alternative right now?

Bearshare and imesh, there are plenty.
The one im using right now (mostly for new movies) is http://www.edonkey2000.org/
It isnt very crowdy yet but the biggest advantage is that it downloads the same file from different users. No more connections that stop at 95% http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
And it can resume your download the next day or so if you suddenly have to stop downloading.

limewire and edonkey are the best ones i think. imesh is slow as hell

just downloaded a 700mb JENNA movie the last day with edonkey http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/biggrin.gif at 40kb/s average overall
