Apprantly it's not a bug or a mistake. Exxxit is now doing a cost analysts on everyones account and reducing the rate accordingly. The exxxit team has told me on the phone an email went out to explain this, but I told them nobody ever got this email and they are working with the programmers to figure out why.
Ok fine they are reducing the rates because they are not making enough money. I completely understand this, BUT an attention notice on the stat page would have been nice to let everyone know what is going on. I think they should pay the normal rate for April as the mistake seems to fall on there hands.

I totally agree with Anthony, it is not fair to change the rate at the very end of the month without any notice. As of May2, 2001, 16:31 EST time, it is still indicated on their web site ( main page and rules page) that the rate is 0,006 , not to mention that there is no announcement on the stats page and nobody has received any notice per email, so why would we get paid anything else than 0,006 per raw hits for April?

Guys, they should'nt pay what they own, THEY must pay what they own. They never noticed anyone of anything, they can't change rules for april now, when all traffic is already sent. Nobody received any email, they did not wrote anything on the site, they can't change rates for the past now.

I agree they can change their program, close it, modify the rates, but they just can't do that without advising everyone.

I would have dropped them much before if I would know that..

I see both points. Exxxit must be able to make money on the traffic (God knows everybody throws their crap at exit programs) and you should be informed that your payout has been reduced. Either way, if they reduced their payout to 1/2 of what they are paying now, I'd still make more money than with the other sponsors I have used (hit counts suck).

I did notice in the terms:

1.4 Your commission shall be earned on the
first successful page load of Exxxit's timed
interstitial chain. Exxxit administrators will continually monitor the productivity of your traffic and may, at their discretion, adjust payout accordingly. In the event a commission is adjusted, you will be contacted by phone or at your registered email address.

Futurestar, that's fine , lowering the rates so the program can be around longer and everyone is making is fine, that is a huge part of doing business.

Yes but this apply to all of us? According to my stats for April they STILL owe me $800

Sure they are allowed to change rates, however FIRST from the minute we recieve a mail from them.

If they want to change the rate thats fine. Everyone needs to be profitable, otherwise whats the point. Changing the rate for a month after receiving traffic for that whole month and not advising anyone is B.S.

Besides the pay period is every 15 days. When did they figure out that they were not making money. Why didn't they tell webmasters on the 15th of April, and lower the rate for the second pay period. Why are they still advertising .006 on their website.

We deserve to be paid the full amount for April!

Devide it and it gets to be :

Tom Christensen, they are now doing a cost analysis on all the accounts. I guess your account is up to par. Or the more traffic you send the worse the ratio is and thus the less you send the better ratio is (which makes sence)

I guess right now if you are a smart webmaster and set your goals realisticly you will understand that your profits will be cut almost in half now.

Basically what i am trying to say is
Dont be naive to find a program paying big bucks now. Go with what you think is realistic.

And as far as babenet i am sure they will be professional enough to settle this in a way that will be ok for everybody. I met Babenet crew at their office and they are very smart guys.

You're right Anthony. I think they are correct people and they will understand that lowering rates, 1 month later, after it updated each single day of the month at 0.006$, is not correct at all. We have not been informed of anything.

I hope they will understand that.
