Many telcos will eat up tiny losses for larger payouts and it aint the dialer companies fault the kid used it. The dialer has a disclaimer and the kid violated it point blank to me that holds the parents liable. However in this great country you cannot hold anyone under the age of 18 to any binding contract written or verbal. I seen people get heaps of FREE cds usin that trick with them 10 CDs for 1 penny deal. Anyhow the mighty dialer companies arent loosing like you think. If it was an unprofitable business do you think so many be using it. Same goes for credit cards and banks federal money backs them so you never have to worry about MC or VISA going bankrupt due to thousands of chargebacks from porn sites. Yo tok, I never said that no one was not making money. Shit, Dialer companies, Webmasters, they are all cashing in.

The problem I see is that All americans dont take blame for themselves and blame everthing else.
At$t agrees with this and just gives the money back, so does visa, mc. etc.

i totally agree with inside. if your kid uses a dialer, blame the dialer company instead of realizing that your kid needs supervision on the net.

if you use a credit card to access a member area you really wanted to see, just lie (which is credit card fraud) and say someone else used your card.

i am responsible for everything i do - unless i was lied to (and i DO read terms and conditions). it is the law. when my son was under 18, i was resonsible for everything HE did. that is the law - the law that the u.s. as a country seems to overlook whenever they can pass the blame to a third party.
