I run nt4 server and have been for 3-4 years. As stable as microsoft products get and allows me to run everything except 3d games, which is why I have dual boot win98. I keep thinking of "upgrading" to win2k, but I don't want to forego the stability I have now. I do have a box with Redhat 5.2 that I toy with, but only to mess with really or test things I may put on my business servers.

I was used Linux recently in 1998,1999,2000
yes I was installed 1 time every year

But Linux sucks for desktop usage. There is no Photoshop / Paintshop pro. No Frontpage 2000 (My favorite html design program)
No ICQ99b (Licq looks cool, but I've very addicted to that fuckin' ICQ)

Linux is only good for programmers, and computer engineers.

For home use, Windows 9X is best.
and if you never play PC games & have a fast system win2k is great for you

Win ME is shit, Only eats more system resources and takes control from you! No DOS. If you change somethings (like delete the fonts and re install from backups) ME restroes from originals etc.

And yes, I'm using Windows 98 SE with AtGuard 3.22 firewall (great for dialups, makes your connection faster)
