how much hits can handle 1,25 MBPS

Hi,

My sites are very slow at the moment.Like http://www.justsexxx.com/gal/teen/02/teen.html it takes me more then 3 minutes to load!!! IS this at your place so slow too? If so, could it be that I have to much vistors. I get now total 60.000 hits one day, is this too much for 1,25 MBPS line capped?

your thumbs are twice the k mine are, and mine are pretty clear. add in a 27k banner and your page is more than 150k to load - pretty hefty for a gallery.

but now i'm getting connection reset by peer.

i can get 100,000 surfers out of a 1.1 mbps line BUT my thumbs are far smaller than yours AND i have less thumbs and no banners. my galleries are a total of 60-70k in graphics when you hit the page, yours is more than double that. so it is possible you have maxed your line.

i ran a ping and a traceroute and got pretty good numbers. i recommend you talk to hiendmedia.

I will talk with them, they're pretty good, but no one available at this moment. I know my galleries are little bit "heavy"But 100K is no problem for 1,25 MBPS? Still time outs here from holland BTW

No, 1.25mb/s isn't enough for 100k.

It doesn't timeout but it's damn slow.

dude, you're running over 150k on that gallery just in thumbs. multiply that by 60,000 uniques you asked about and you get over 8 gig - if i'm doing it right.

your pics are also ENORMOUS for a gallery, so since each surfer will click 2, that is ANOTHER 8 gig. 16 gig a day is more than your line can handle.

unless your sponsor converts amazingly, it's not worth it.

shrink those pics to 40k or even 50 and you'll save some. shrink the thumbs so they're all 6-7 k and you'll save more. some of your pics are over 80k. you can get a nice looking pic, pretty large, at 45k. you don't need to give the surfers paysite sized pics.

Why would you use a 50kb pic on a gallery? That's giving it away. Make decent thumbs, and compress/resize the pic. I get ill if my gallery pics are around 30kb

I once had a free site with 25-30k picture galleries and was rejected left and right by link lists because they felt my pictures were to small.

Now I only make free sites with 40-45k pictures and get accepted by 95% of link lists.
