Below are scans of a certified letter i got today in the mail regarding one of my many domains being used on my Free TopList Host.
I have read the english part 5 times and i still have no clue exactly what they want or are planing on doing.

From the english text it just looks like they want to stop minors from seeing your sites, which isn't a bad thing for you. Like candid said, they probably can't do anything to non-german webmasters.

Weird.. The german and english text don´t quite match.. The german version says there are pics of minors in sexually explicit poses and that your site is degrading kids to a mere sex object... Nothing about this in the english "translation" though.

I am from Germany and might can help you understanding the content of the letters.

The representative for the protection of children of an area in Germany wants the BpjS to list your site at the BpjS's list of material unsuitable for children. The request was submitted to the BPjS and they now ask you if you have any objections against this request. If you have objections you have to send them to the BPjs within seven days upon receival of this letter.
The english information is only some general information about the work of the BPjS.

The BPjS normally censores videos and computer games if they found them to be unsuitable for children or kids.
For example Quake,Doom,Duke Nukem and many others are listed as unsuitable for children.

It is forbidden to sell those vides/games to people under the age of 18 years. Additionally it is forbidden to advertise those videos/games which results for stores in selling them only on request to adults.

I don't know since when they take action against websites and how they think to enforce these action.
No ISP in Germany has ever and will ever censore access to these websites or any other websites...

Normally German webmasters who operate hardcore sites get visited by the police because it is against the law to operate such websites.

If you don't live in Germany (or plan visiting Germany in the future) you can ignore this...

Its not stupid.You all think you would loose traffic and $$$ if you had to put such strong AVS like the german.But i can tell you its not so.The german have best traffic you can get (better than german traffic is only .CH)The AVS is protecting german adultbiz against you and your flood of freeporn.German webmasters make same money with galleries on TGPs with 5000 visitors a day like you with 100k a day.And the AVS is also protecting childs that they havent to see some of your bullshit content like CP ,beasties and so on.

I say the strong AVS is TOP !!!!
The only think that suck at §184 is that there are no 100% advices which explain what to do to be sure not breaking this §
