I received this unsoliceted email today:

> There is a rumor that they are seizing accounts to try to keep themselves
afloat.
> You may want to consider protecting your assets if you are doing business
with
> that organization and have monetary balances in their care!

There are always going to be people who have gripes with certain companies while other people experience no problems at all. While I have heard stories here and there of some unsavory incidents involving Paypal the company seems pretty solid as per media reporting. Also there was a very good article in Wired magazine about them a few months back.

I would be skeptical of "sucks" sites as there is usually some kind of personal motive or agenda.

While paypal is a private company I'm sure you can do some more unbias research and basically keep your ear to the ground. As we all know these days, what is strong and thriving one day can often take a quick turn in the other direction.

In the meantime use the debit card with 1.5% cash back! :)

Peace,

I would not listen. Kind of hard to think that the message is professional in nature when the work 'sucks' is in the domain.

What has happened is some non-business people had their accounts revoked because they did stupid things. A couple of these lower class people probably then went and registered domains with 'sucks', 'suxors', etc..

I have been using paypal for about 2 years now with no problems. Love the debit card.

Paypal on...
