Wow, where do i begin? Ok
i'll give you as much detail as possible so you get a good picture.
I signed up with adult friend finder as a affiliate to send them traffic and members. At this stage we was still building on our traffic which we were ranked at 179,000 in Alexa...
now we rank at 151,000 in Alexa..
When we first signed up to the AFF network of sites, things were slow but good as we fine tuned things on our site. I logged into my AFF account everyday in the morning to see how it was performing.
As i said it started slow then it began to get better and better..in the space of 1 and half or 2 months i had mad $350+ in our account.
i had sent them about 140+ people that had signed up through their pay per click into my ATL.COM, which belongs to them, and 160+ in my Adultfriendfinder.com account.
They give you a minimum check amount you can select to have your money sent to you when you sign up, i think it was $100. I increased this to $400 as i had reached the $100 minimum payout too quickly and did not want to just get a $100 and pay fees on transfer for just $100 from my bank.
I logged in my account one day and to my surprise my money had changed from $350-400 into just $190 for my AFF account and $20 for my ATL.com account...What the FUCK happened?
I thought it must be a systems glitch as i saw a note that they were having a systems maintenance due.
I searched through my email account and found a message from them which began our conversation..

Dear Affiliate,
A recent analysis of your traffic indicates your performance has fallen below the requirements of the Pay Per Click (or Per Member) program. In accordance with Section 5 of the Affiliate Network Agreement, you have been converted to the percentage program. In order to ensure a win-win situation for both ourselves and our affiliates, we reserve the right to convert affiliates whose traffic falls below certain minimum performance requirements. Please let us know if you have any questions.

Hi, i feel very uncomfortable with that move you have made.
I was doing just fine. you were getting traffic we have gained more ranking in Alexa and such..so how can you have you not have been getting more traffic from us??
You could have asked me if i was ok with that before making changes!! I picked pay per click for my own reason, if i wanted to go for your percentage program instead, i would have chose that option.
i had a 100 + members for your ATL account and $160+ in that account where has that gone to? it has turned into $21 or something strange like that?
i was near the $300-350 bracket and about to pass it and thinking you guys were good for business as i was going ...now I'm back to some $190.
whats the funny stuff about? i was checking my aff account nearly every day...
please re-fix my account.
i was getting less traffic when i started the site...there's no way I'm "under performing" now. even if i am. I'm OK with what i chose. thank you.
please re-fix my account.
Or just tell me straight, you don't like the idea of paying me too much so you want to try tricks and act like your doing me a favor.
both my AFF and ATL accounts had over $150+ that makes a minimum of $300 ..how comes my total now reaches only about $200?
Don't do that kind of thing!

Thank you for your email. Per our terms of service, we have the right to convert an account at any time if the account is not meeting the program requirements. With the per click and per member programs, you must have 1 free sign up in every 20 uniques, and 1 paid membership in every 25 free members. Many affiliates who are converted will do better on the percentage program because there is no ratio, the more traffic you send, the higher the percentage you earn per member. Once an account is converted, it cannot be reversed. If you would like to try the per click program again, then you may do so, but it has to be with new traffic. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us anytime.
Thank you,

At this stage im thinking, Wow what sneaky, cheating, thieves.. that portray themselves to be a honest company. claiming to be giving away financial bonuses away on their website when they can't even pay what they claim !!

so is it a pay per click or do i get paid only when people sign up?..OK, if i get paid when people sign up...your saying i can only actually get paid if s sign up decides to pay on your site?
So you claim its a pay per click system but a person only really gets paid if a sign up decides to pay on your AFF site. That's not Pay Per Click, That's even pay per-sign up..
ok, so are they implying that i should also convert customers for them, i should some how after sending them customers, get those customers to pay? thats not my job..thats your job AFF you have to give them something which makes them want to be a part of your service!
if you have a house for sale. and i have a house selling magazine. Is it my job to sell your house when customers come to you?..NO Its YOUR job to convert the Customer/Sale..offer them something they can not deny, give them something they can not find somewhere else for free. Offer them something they need! you convert that person that is not sure about you!
It's not like I'm a Car magazine and your selling a house in my magazine!!
Me and AFF are in the same market "Adult Dating, Sex and fun"
Im sending them targeted traffic....out of the 4,000 plus people/uniques I'm sure some will remember them now and even go back and maybe pay be silly enough to pay...either way I'm sure i will not see a cent/penny of that money! I know that much..

ok, so what happened to my money as i noticed you stayed off that subject?
i had $150+ each for both my ATL and AFF accounts.
so they took my money too, that's only something Mr Burns from the Simpsons would do..lol
it would not be that bad if they left you with what you had made before they change you to their percentage program...i had over $350+ in my AFF account. When they decided to change my account into a percentage account (which means I only get paid a percentage-% out of sales they make instead of the PAY PER CLICK I chose) they also stole $100+ back from no where.
They explained why the changed my account into a % account, but they stayed clear off the fact that they had also taken money out of my account..
Maybe they was hoping i did not keep such a close eye on my account. ..i say stole as it was mine, it was in my account and i gave no one permission to take or deduct it.
It's not like I cheated or anything like that....i had provided a service and sent them pure unique clicks, 4,000+ in less than two months.
and they punish me because no one wants to PAY for what they can get free on most sites!! Well adult friend finder, let me say one thing..those tactics will have this reaction that is happening now..and in the long run, it will cost you more than what you did to me and other companies that took you at face value. Guess you got one over me..but what about the Internet community that will find out about you. At first i was going to just keep quiet and thought it was just me until i done a Google on them and found this was the extra card they was hiding under the table to cheat people..so im shouting it out on this mountain and many more:mad:

Dear Affiliate,
Thank you for your email. When an account is converted, the traffic under that account is recalculated under the new payout, which would be the percentage program. Any balances in the account is adjusted to what is earned under the new payout. This information is listed also in our FAQS. If you have further questions, please feel free to contact us anytime.
