Nope. Not one person in the whole wide world is making money. Every single person in every sector of the industry does it as a hobby with $0 made.

Ok, I am calm now. Sorry but I am so sick of this same question. Of course people make money. Will you? Who knows.

It is all in how you do things. If we all opened up a book store tomorrow, will we all make money? Of course not. Will we all NOT make money, same answer.

People make money posting, having sites, avs sites, pay sites, phone sex site, this site, and that site. Your knowledge and ability and some luck will determine if you are a 1 or a 0 in the variable that is profit.

There is no pre-set profit plan that says do exactly A,B and C to make money. If there was and it was widely known, it would work shortly then fail as it became overused.

Tips: Read articles, learn proper marketing via college or books, network with others, don't be lazy, and don't believe everything you hear/read. Most people who claim to be making major bank are the same idiots who try to sell their site 3 months later for whatever they can get so they can have their power turned back on and treat themselves to some Mcdonalds.

I just started my TGP about 4 days ago. Spent no money because a friend of mine gave me a URL he wasn't using plus hosting and the script I use is free. So far I have made almost $120. Thats not bad for a few hours work and things seem to be going up hill from here.

how many uniques for those $120?
and what was the conversion? How many galleries are you using? And how many submissions have you made?

With those number we can gauge in real life if TGP's are worth anything...Not everybody has access to free bandwith. :eek:

Only about 1200 raw and 700 uniques a day and growing. I post 48 real galleries a day and by the advice of someone here I mix in sever out.php links in the listings to keep my trades active. My top list on the TGP however sends out about 60% of my out traffic because I made it look like the in hits are actual surfer votes. So far today's traffic is looking rather grim though. :( All my galleries listed are from people that either emailed them to me or from lists people post in forums with clean galleries they want listed. I don't convert that great about 1:900 from the ads on my site.

Yes I'm glad I get free bandwidth. It's sort of pay back for watching my friends house and pets for a few months while he is gone.

Umm no.. Actually one of my better trades has told me via ICQ that my productivity is 200+%. If I signed for a trade and sent one shitty hit was probably when I was setting my script up and learning the works or soemthing like that. Either way I don't want to fight with you. If you feel I did wrong by you let me know and I'll try and send you some traffic to make up for what ever it was I might have done or not to piss you off. :confused:

By the way I never said I was making bank. I got a few sign ups so far and that's it. It's not like I was claiming I make millions. I make very little I was just posting an example to the question about tgps making money. Mine so far has made some. All be it very little but I don't think that is bad for zero $ investment and a few hours a days time.

freesite traffic is still great if you go niche and know how to get some QUALITY traffic. this year was about numbers, next will be about quality again - what are 100k/day worth if you cant convert it?

Well I started paying for hosting this month w/ the money I made by hosting my site on free hosts.

About the content... Well just say ya'll know how the movie-bizz works (take p-bot, fuckingfreemovies, hereistheporn & vidsvidsvids just to name a few).

And yes, go into a niche & FOR GOD SAKE don't try to sell anything when all your surfers already get it 4 free: promote free sites & you'll do well. Even w/ shitty traffic.

It's the money that counts, not the traffic...

I remember that post from pichunter.com making $3 a day w/ 240,000 uniques a day, DAAAAAMN

Nah I never made one buck of porn I have nothing to do right now and I pay arround 5k of bw per month and get no signup ... I like distributing porn for free =p

So you're saying you steal all your movie content? That's not cool. There's lots of place to buy it, you're not only hurting the copyright holders, you're taking money out of the pocket of every webmaster that has to buy their content.

In my opinion you can´t earn much with galleries submitting to TGP´s - the only what it´s for good is making you main page known.
most signup come from main page about 95 % - and about 5 % from galleries.
So if the Gallerie is listest on the TGP main it´s fine for the TGP owner

lost but not least: sure you can make money :)

A typical TGP consists of a main page and then list of galleries, whether on the main page or subsequent pages.

You are saying that TGP's get tons of traffic because of their showing galleries, but that only the main page of a TGP is ofany consequence. Therefore, galleries can have any relevance as long as they get listed on the main page of a TGP, correct?

No, I don't steal my content. I just ask the person who posted it before me, if I can use it on my page also.

it's not true that there are many places to buy MOVIE-content from. Do a search on this board for 'movie-content' & you'll see.

But I'm getting over w/ this begging for content. I got to know some peeps who shoot videos. And I might get them let me use it.
Second, I'm thinking of making some amateur videos w/ some prostitutes. Need some more dough though...
