View Full Version : Keeping kids away from adult sites?
Some site visitors have emailed me asking how to keep their kids from browsing adult sites. What do I tell them? What's the best way?

I always stick a little text box on each site's index page saying something along the lines of
"Parents, you can easily block access to adult sites from your computer:
You can click here for detailed instructions." and hyperlink to http://www.icra.org/

Of course it helps if you've actually registered your site with icra and put the ratings tags on your page http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/wink.gif

The way to keep kids from porn is so freaking easy.. if they would just make all porn sites ending in .xxx then be able to block all sites ending in .xxx problem solved.. or maybe pull your head out of your ass and watch your kids.. some parents are freaking stupid.
Net Nanny and all those proggie are weak.. I have installed them just to see what they are like and I can still find porn.. nothing is fool proof.
Just my thoughts..

Block porn site and put their link in their page if parents want to block
