Hey People,

I'm working on a design site. The site is by no means done, but the main page is done along with the Flash movie there.

Hopefully, I'll be done in the next day or two. Tell me what you guys think.

Designing your own design site is a tough job. We've already scrapped two versions of ours, and are working on a third. None of which has really seen the light of day. Doesn't help that we're so busy with client work that we don't have time...but that's a good thing right.

Turboface: when i saw your site i thought it's a warez site...
i guess, if you call it "after dark" make it bright because day comes after night, no?

and flash "movie" is too simple in my opinion... it does not help or show something but just boring

don't take it personal but you asked for opinions

That's exactly what I'm lookoing for - feedback. I agree with you too - I'm gonna put something else together and show you guys in a few hours.

Hey - I just saw that you're the guy that runs Orchid Designs. I have to say that you've got one of the nicest adult design sites out there - Great job.

I agree with you on that.

I have to say designing your own designs site is a bitch.
I've been working on my designs site for quite a while, and I'd hate to launch it before I'm very satisfied with it. Besides, 1st impressions are damn important, atleast for myself, so I presume they're important for others too.

Bad design. Stats shows that visitors decide in first 30 second to stay or leave sites. Your first page does not say a thing about your site. Put something to caught visitors.

i think black color is not a good idea and your flash movie is too slow! make it faster

One hint.. don't host your design site on the same servers as your adult site...

Go with some good host that does not allow adult content.. THey will be much faster.....

I do know that this is a very old thread, but I have found this impurethought on the net and here as well, but I am not sure they are one and the same. The links here leads me to a directory. Is there a mistake or this is the site that was originally designed?

This is without a doubt the oldest bump I have ever seen on the net. 5 YEARS!!!!

The directory looks like something a domain registar would add if the domain isn't renewed but I'm not sure. It could be one of those pay per click campaigns as well.
