i'm still running ICQ2003
It might be time for me to upgrade to a newer version of ICQ.
I'm still running Pro 2003b i think it was the only one that allowed me to keep all my 500+ contacts! how does the new one compare ?

I had 2003b untill two months ago, it was really the best icq version, I've hated the lite crap.
icq 6 is okay, a bit to much of shiny images and crap but you get used to it. Also it keeps history different so be sure to backup your logs somewhere if you need them. tbh don't see any reason why would you need to upgrade unless you have connection issues or something |

I cant help but I dont like the new version of icq.. i tried it, but then I just found the old one and got it back, even though it took me longer to find the older install file. just fits me better.

I dont like the new ICQ.. Too fluffy..
I was using Trillain for a while but its too bulky.. I am now using Miranda and its pretty solid. No frills, which is what i like. It works for all platforms.

I'm using ICQ every day, I have the last version, but to be honest I don't like it. To my mind Skype is much better.
